There is one true and living God, eternal and unchanging, without body, parts, or passions, being perfect in power, wisdom, and goodness. He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things visible and invisible. Within the unity of the Godhead there are three Persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—of one substance, power, and everlasting essence.

Holy Scripture—39 books of the Old Testament and 27 books of the New Testament—contains all things necessary for salvation, being God-breathed, inerrant, and infallible; therefore, whatever is not read in it, nor may be proved from it, is not to be required of anyone as an article of the Faith, nor regarded as necessary to salvation.

Out of His sheer goodness and sovereign will, God created the heavens and the earth in wisdom and through the power of His word, bringing all things into being as good and beautiful. We reject macroevolution as an unbiblical doctrine that lacks sufficient scientific support. We affirm the historicity of Adam and Eve as the first parents of the human race.

Consequent to the Fall, all mankind is born into sin and inclined to evil, being descendants of our first parent Adam, with that original righteousness being lost. Therefore, every person born into this world deserves the just wrath and condemnation of God. This infection of nature does remain in those that are regenerated until the glorification of their bodies. Although there is no condemnation for those that are in Christ Jesus, this in no way diminishes the sinfulness of sin, which all Christians are called to flee and to daily repent of.

The Son is the eternal Word of the Father, begotten of Him from everlasting, fully God, and one in substance with the Father. He took upon Himself man’s nature in the womb of the blessed Virgin, of her substance, so that two whole and perfect natures—one Divine and one human—were joined together in one Person, never to be divided, whereof is one Christ, very God, and very Man. He truly suffered, was crucified, dead, and buried, to reconcile his Father to us, and to be a sacrifice, not only for original guilt, but also for actual sins. Christ physically rose again from death in the same, though glorified, body in which He died. He ascended into Heaven where He now sits, having all authority in Heaven and on earth, until He returns to judge the living and the dead.

We are only accounted righteous before God for the merit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by Faith, not for our own works or merits. That we are justified by grace alone through faith alone is a comfort to our souls and the grounds of our good works, which are not absent in the believer.

The Church of Christ is made up of all those who are in the family of faith, both saints in the Old Covenant and saints in the New Covenant. True local churches are marked by the faithful proclamation of the gospel, the proper administration of the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper (or Eucharist), living in love, and practicing church discipline when necessary.

The Bible explicitly articulates male headship, not only in the home, but in the Church. Local churches are therefore to be led by male elders/priests.

Jesus Christ will return bodily to administer righteous judgment: the just to eternal glory and the unjust to eternal punishment.

God created male and female in His image and likeness, equal in dignity and complementary in design, with man as the head and woman as the helpmate. Marriage is a covenantal, lifelong union between one man and one woman, instituted by God for companionship, procreation, and the good of society. Sexual intimacy is a gift of God to be enjoyed exclusively within the covenant of marriage.

Feminism, egalitarianism, and LGBTQ-ism are transgressions of God’s good order in creation, fundamentally disrupting male headship, feminine virtues, and God’s good word to Adam and Eve to “be fruitful and multiply.”
